RFBerlin’s new Head of Communications

RFBerlin’s new Head of Communications

Meet Freya Entrup, the new Head of Communications of RFBerlin. She will lead the communications team and the institute’s media relations, and help bring our research to journalists, policymakers, and the people it is about.
Freya brings experience from across journalism, political media, and public affairs. She has worked as a journalist, including at the national news agency dpa Custom Content and the Berlin-based political-media company The Pioneer, and most recently served as deputy spokesperson for a parliamentary group in the Brandenburg state parliament, where she led a communications team. She works in German and English.

With this breadth of experience, Freya will strengthen how our research reaches the public debate and the conversations it helps shape.

“At RFBerlin, rigorous research and clear communication go hand in hand. We want our findings to inform public debate and help policymakers address the challenges facing our economies and societies. Freya brings the vision and expertise to lead this effort. We warmly welcome her to the team and look forward to working together.”.
– Prof. Christian Dustmann, Director of ROCKWOOL Foundation Berlin

Harald Schultz, who has led RFBerlin’s communications over the past two years, will continue to support the institute as Press Director.

The whole RFBerlin team warmly welcomes Freya, and we look forward to building the institute’s next chapter, and a stronger voice for our research, together.
