The third RFBerlin Migration Forum, organised by CReAM @ RFBerlin, will take place on 18–19 March 2027. This year’s forum focuses on migration, integration, and economic competitiveness.
The two-day conference features keynote lectures by Professors Jens Hainmueller (Stanford University) and Giovanni Peri (University of California, Davis), alongside parallel sessions of frontier research on migration and its role in the economies and societies that receive it.
We invite innovative research on a broad range of topics related to migration, including, but not limited to, the economic and social integration of migrants and the role of policy; the effects of migration on labour markets, firms, productivity, and economic competitiveness in destination countries; the drivers of migration; migrants’ experiences and outcomes; and public attitudes toward immigration.
Submissions may consist of a full paper or an extended abstract, although preference will be given to completed papers. Only one submission per presenting author is permitted, but there is no limit on co-authorship of additional submissions. All submissions must include an abstract of no more than 250 words.
